Reserve Apple Brandy

There are up to 8 different varieties of apples from local farms in Southwest Michigan in each batch of our Reserve Apple Brandy. A mix of sweet, bittersweet, and tart apples give a consistent and balanced product that is a true expression of apple. We age our Reserve Apple Brandy in new American oak barrels for up to 12 months. The barrels are 25 gallons and are sourced from Kentucky. A blend of toasted and charred barrels help preserve the apple aroma and flavor while bringing in additional roundness to the spirit.

Reserve Apple Brandy is a flagship spirit for Rhine Hall Distillery. Because apples can be stored, it is possible to produce this brandy year round. Rhine Hall Reserve Apple Brandy is made in a distinctive style common in Germany and Austria which utilizes the whole fruit. There is never any additional juice or cider added for fermentation or in the finished product. The team works to create a unique blend of barrels annually, and so there can be slight variances from batch to batch.
