RHINE HALL APPLE BRANDY  

Also known as Apple Eau de vie or Schnapps

Rhine Hall Apple Brandy starts with fresh whole apples from local farms in Southwest Michigan. Focusing on a variety of apples to maintain a balance, Rhine Hall Apple Brandy consists of a mixture of Jonagold, MacIntosh, Gala, Cortland, and many more. 

There are 25 pounds of apples in a single 750 ml bottle of Rhine Hall Apple Brandy.

Traditionally drank to help digest food after a meal, Apple Brandy is also delicious in many cocktails. See here.

RHINE HALL Oak Aged APPLE BRANDY

In French speaking countries, also known as Calvados

Rhine Hall Oak Aged Apple Brandy is aged for 9 - 14 months in a combination of toasted & charred American Oak barrels to bring out a light oaky taste rounded out with smooth vanilla notes. We focus on a light oak to ensure that the apple is still very apparent in both the taste and aroma.

Traditionally drank to help digest food after a meal, Oak Aged Apple Brandy is also delicious in many cocktails.  See here.

RHINE HALL GRAPPA

Grappa is a traditional drink in Italian speaking countries

Grappa is produced from grape pomace, the leftover grape seeds, stems, and skins from wine making.  Rhine Hall works with local wineries to source our pomace, focusing on single grape varieties.  

Rhine Hall Grappa is a bit floral, bringing out the pretty yet subtle notes from the varietal in bottle.  From Batch #8 on, each bottle is stamped with the varietal.

Traditionally drank to help digest food after a meal, Grappa is also delicious in many cocktails.  See here.

RHINE HALL Oak Aged GRAPPA

 

Rhine Hall Oak Aged Grappa is the aged version of Rhine Hall Grappa. Oak Aged Grappa, currently aged for 3 months in American Oak, retains a light oak paired with the underlying Petit Syrah.

Traditionally drank to help digest food after a meal, Oak Aged Grappa is delicious in many cocktails.  See here.

RHINE HALL MANGO BRANDY  

Also known as Mango Eau de Vie or Schnapps

Rhine Hall Mango Brandy is a unique Special Edition offered by Rhine Hall.  Currently, Mango Brandy is produced in only one other known location in Mexico.  

Mango Brandy is produced by using fresh mashed mangoes.  There are roughly 15-20 pounds of mangoes in a single 750 ml bottle.  

Just like other Rhine Hall products, the Mango Brandy is bottled at 40% ABV & 100% distilled from mango with out any sugar or flavoring added.

Rich in aroma and surprisingly tropical, Rhine Hall Mango Brandy is preferably drank after Mexican or Asian food as a digestif or in a cocktail.

RHINE HALL PLUM BRANDY 

Also known as Plum Eau de Vie, Schnapps, or Slivovitz

Rhine Hall Plum Brandy is a Special Edition offered by Rhine Hall.  Rhine Hall Plum Brandy will be produced every fall using all fresh Michigan plums.

Plum Brandy is produced by using fermented plum mash.  There are roughly 20 pounds of plums in a single 750ml bottle.  

Just like other Rhine Hall products, the Plum Brandy is bottled at 40% ABV & 100% distilled from plum with out any sugar or flavoring added.

Arguably the most aromatic from the Rhine Hall portfolio and beautifully smooth, Rhine Hall Plum Brandy is preferably drank after a meal as a digestif or in a cocktail.

Also known as Peach Eau de Vie, or Schnapps

Rhine Hall Peach Brandy is a Special Edition offered by Rhine Hall.  Rhine Hall Peach Brandy will be produced every fall using all fresh Michigan peaches.

Plum Brandy is produced by using fermented peach mash.  There are roughly 20 pounds of peaches in a single 750ml bottle.  

Just like other Rhine Hall products, the Peach Brandy is bottled at 40% ABV & 100% distilled from peach with out any sugar or flavoring added.


RHINE HALL PEAR BRANDY

Also known as Pear Eau de Vie, or Schnapps

Rhine Hall Pear Brandy is a Special Edition offered by Rhine Hall.  Rhine Hall Pear Brandy will be produced every fall using all fresh Michigan pears.

Pear Brandy is produced by using fermented pear mash.  There are roughly 20 pounds of pears in a single 750ml bottle.  

Just like other Rhine Hall products, the Pear Brandy is bottled at 40% ABV & 100% distilled from pear with out any sugar or flavoring added.

At Rhine Hall we look forward to introducing our Pear Brandy combined with our flagship Apple Brandy, in a drink known as Obstler.  Obstler is typically 60-70% Apple Brandy and 30-40% Pear Brandy.


Rhine Hall Cherry Brandy was first released in December 2015 as a pre-release for neighbors, Intelligentsia Coffee.  January 2016 Rhine Hall will distribute around Chicago.

Also known as Kirschwasser, or Cherry Schnapps

Rhine Hall Cherry Brandy is a Special Edition offered by Rhine Hall.  Rhine Hall Cherry Brandy will be produced every summer using fresh de-pitted Michigan cherries.

Rhine Hall Cherry Brandy is produced by using fermented cherry mash.  There are roughly 15 pounds of cherries in a single 750ml bottle.  

Just like other Rhine Hall products, the Cherry Brandy is bottled at 40% ABV & 100% distilled from cherry with out any sugar or flavoring added.

Rhine Hall La Normande

Also known as Pommeau in the Normandy region of France.

La Normande is a Special Edition offered by Rhine Hall.  La Normande was first introduced to co-owner, Jenny, and her husband, Taylor, when visiting the Normandy region of France.  'La Normande' in French means, "The Woman from Normandy," as a woman named Heloise introduced Jenny and Taylor how to make this fine Apple Brandy - Apple cider barrel aged cordial.

La Normande is produced by using Rhine Hall Apple Brandy and the fresh non-fermented cider they produce on-site.  The apple brandy/apple cider is then aged in 52 gallon Bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery for 9 months.  Their neighbor, Goose Island Brewery, is now experimenting with these barrels to age their beer.  More details to come!

Unlike other Rhine Hall products, La Normande is bottled at 18% ABV.  No additional sugar is added.
