About the position
Rhine Hall is looking for a Brand Advocate/Sales Person, to join our growing team. The Brand Advocate will be responsible and focused on sales in New York City to start, with other East Coast states (DC/Maryland and Delaware) to follow.
Founded in November of 2013, Rhine Hall is a family owned-operated fruit brandy or eau de vie distillery in Chicago. Run by Jenny Solberg Katzman with business partner and father, Charlie Solberg, the team is rapidly growing to support the exciting demand of our traditional and exotic brandies nationwide. We are currently distributed in our home state of Illinois, as well as New York, California, Colorado, Wisconsin, Utah, and soon-to-be DC/Maryland & DE.

As the Rhine Hall Brand Advocate, you will be responsible for the growth of our highest potential market, New York City. You will be the face of Rhine Hall on the East Coast. You will
be expected to see accounts daily, build relationships, spread the word about Rhine Hall, as well as complete the sales process from start to finish.
In New York City, we use a non-traditional route to market, we don’t work with a traditional distributor, i.e. Southern, Young’s, Breakthru. All sales in New York City will go through the distributor platform we work with, LibDib, where orders will be placed & fulfilled directly by our team. Attacking the market in this way means that your network will be extremely valuable to grow our sales to plan.
In DC/Maryland & Delaware, as well as new markets to come, you will work with our distribution partners to meet sales goals.
What you’ll be doing
Set up & close sales opportunities via cold calls, appointment creation, networking events, etc.
Distribution management for growing territory
Spread the word about Rhine Hall, and the fruit brandy/eau de vie category
Meet and exceed sales goals for territories
Team player, help colleagues with new contacts in outside markets via network
Reporting to Co-Founder with weekly sales reports & calls
Social media outreach
Must have extensive existing network, specifically in New York
Must have bartending experience (2+ years in cocktail bar)
Sales experience (2+ years)
Start date: TBD - Mid-August
