Sarah will now also be representing us in California! But don’t worry, she’ll still be based in Chicago :). Sarah is making her first trip out there next week and will be in SF Sept 30th-Oct 1st & LA Oct 2nd-5th. We can’t wait to shake things up in sunny California — shoot her a message at email@example.com to connect!
In August, we welcomed our newest member of the team, PK! This Chicago-native is crushing the streets of NYC spreading the love of our fruit brandies. PK was in the Chicago food & bev scene for the last 10+ years, moved back to NYC, and will be the face of Rhine Hall on the East Coast. We're excited about the energy and enthusiasm PK can share as he spreads his Chicago love in New York City!
This past month, Jenny was on the grounds in central Mexico meeting with our mango suppliers and seeing first-hand how they harvest and process the fruit we use for our Mango Brandy. Made 100% from mangoes and a production method similar to our other brandies, it's is able to capture the full essence of the fruit itself. The nose is intoxicating, and the spirit leaves a long lasting mango flavor. Just because summer's over doesn't mean mango season is :)
Last you heard, we released our Coffee Liqueur in our tasting room, but it is NOW available for distribution! That’s right—bars, restaurants, & retailers in Chicago...it’s all yours! Pick up a bottle next time you order to see for yourself how absolutely, insanely tasty it is.
For those who have been checking in....we're excited to announce that our Reserve Pear Brandy will finally be available in our tasting room starting at Oktoberfest (October 4th)! Our traditional Pear Brandy is distilled from Bartlett pears, also known as Williams pears, and aged in new American oak charred barrels. Come try it!
We teamed up with Black Dog Gelato as they created a Brandied Apple Pie gelato! Featuring baked apples, soaked in our La Normande Brandy, and apple pie crust.
Stop by their West Loop shop Friday, October 11 from 5-7pm and taste our La Normande plus the Brandied Apple Pie gelato!
Apples & Bierschnaps, Rhine Hall Oktoberfest!
Mark your calendars, we will be hosting an Oktoberfest this Friday, October 4th from 5-9pm! We'll be serving traditional schnapps, obstler (Pear + Apple eau de vie combined), and of course, Bierschnaps, since we all know that Oktoberfest is mostly about the beer anyway. :) To celebrate, we’ll be making our own radler with Bierschnaps & lemon, as well as lower ABV or non-alcoholic options, such as apfelschorle –– fresh apple cider with soda water –– one of our favorites!
Kick off your weekend with some deliciousness at Rhine Hall!
We teamed up with Sweet Bee catering consultant Jessica Ellington to bring you some amazing pastry pairings to go with flights and cocktails!
